Place of Birth
Where He Was Raised
- Lower East Side of NYC.
- Not to mention CT and Canada.
- Fact: Liev claims to have very little in the way of detailed childhood memories. He says, " It's amazing how much of my childhood is completely absent. I really feel awful about that. You know those late night infomercials about memory? I really want to do that. Only because maybe it would help me remember some of it. But then I realize those are really just for short term memory, so... but I'm terrible. I can't remember anything. People. places, names. It's really bad. I think it's because I'm so neurotic about everything else that I overload my brain. It's depressing, because you want to remember."
Education
- Brooklyn Tech
- Friends Seminary
- Hampshire College in the middle of an apple orchard in Amherst, MA - he studied
Symbiology.
- Yale School of Drama
- RADA in London
- Fact: Liev started out with an ambition to be a writer. His professors were. . .shall we say, not exactly encouraging. He was steered toward acting instead. All I have to say is, "If Matt Damon and Ben Affleck can do it..."
